Talking about respecting other's time, this VP did it as bad as possible. I was supposed to have this interview of a 3d drafter position with him and a manager, the manager showed up but not the VP until 2+ hours later…
Then his first question was if I have any questions for him, which I already gone through that with the manager in that 2+hours… Then all the questions he asked me was pointless, I'll explain it in a simple way cuz of the technical words he used:
Question 1: Do you know how to cook?
Me: Yes
Question 2: Do you know how to cook Chinese food?
Me: Yes but maybe just rice
Question 3: Do you know how to cook Kung Pao Chicken?
Me: No
Question 4: Do you know how to cook lo-mein?
Me: NO
Question 1: Do you know how to cook fried rice?
Me: NOOOOOOOOOoooooo
And so on…
You see the issue here? It's either he didn't hear me since the second question or he wanna kept asking until I flip on him. I probably won't get the job but maybe it's a red flag that I dodged cuz I can't see myself working with somebody that think it's ok for anybody, candidate or employee or friend or literally anybody, to spend 2 hours to not get paid and without finding an alternative solution like rescheduling the interview when 1 hour had passed, or having somebody else to attend the interview.
And yet again another “eNtrY leVeL” job, but wanted me to know this this this and that… the job is supposed to be a mix of what I did from my previous job plus the basic knowledge of drafting, and he was focused on the drafting side(they said they're gonna have a 10-week training for new employees anyways). I'm so done with this entry level shit as these picky ass employers expect me to have a master in whatever skills they're looking for. That's why nobody wanna work, or even wanna go to an interview because of people like this VP!
