I had my first annual performance review, resulting in a 3.25% raise. I asked for more.

I'm a pharmacist. People are quitting every day. When the review was coming to an end, my boss asked “What do you need from me?” She always asks this and I actually like my boss. I can come to her with problems and she's very good at resolving them. At first I told her some mundane issues like that we need another phone, etc… But then I said that I think I deserve more than 3.25%. How in each category I met above the expectations and I often go to other stores to help out. Her boss is in charge of pay, so she said she'd ask. Well, instead of 3.5%, I just got 4.75%. Know your worth. 🙂
