I’m an intern at a law firm and we get paid above the national average but it’s still barely anything. We get paid the equivalent about 337 usd a month. That is for 10+ hours of work daily, including constant research, physical labour and more. Not to mention the constant yelling and scrutiny. We get yelled at and called swear words constantly, for the tiniest mistake. We are not allowed to complain because a lot of interns in this country get paid nothing or like 50 usd a month. I’m only 18 but I’m doing the same work that a law school grad would be doing and it is expected to be at the same level.
