I applied to Dairy Queen yesterday, And they called me to go over a few things on the application i put in. I didn't put any references on there (maybe i should've, idk). But they were asking me why I quit Meijer, I told them that i had quit because i was sick with covid and they were threatening to write me up if I didn't come in. …….I guess that was the wrong thing to say because dairy queen said that they wouldn't take me because they feel I would just up and quit on them for no reason…….Like why are most companies like this?? Do they not want workers??? There's plenty of people who have been looking for jobs for a looooong ass time (me included), why do companies feel the need to have the most ridiculous policies, and turn away workers who simply quit due to shitty work practices……
