I have an online job interview tomorrow and I need tips on how to secure my priorities

The last job I had before working freelance was a terrible experience. My former boss verbally and morally abused me, didn't pay me enough, didn't care about my mental nor physical health (making me work for a whole month while I had a throat infection ignoring my doctor's orders to cease talking for at least 48h or I could permanently damage my vocal chords). I wanna make sure they understand I value my free time and do not wish to be contacted during it and that I can count on them if I ever need to stay home due to medical issues. I also would like to be payed well enough that it doesn't become cheaper to just be at home unemployed.

Needless to say this is filling me with anxiety as I hate being an employee but I need this job as an internship to finally complete my second college degree.

The issue I face is that I don't think I can say these things without sounding arrogant/aggressive as I have a tendency to get these adjectives as feedback when I set boundaries.

Can you guys help me?
