I've recently contracted covid (caught it at work) and my boss has been hounding me daily to see when I'm coming back in to work, I work in a giant refrigerator for Scotlands biggest supplier of fruit and vegetables, we supply to old folks homes and other vulnerable people, I also work with people that have relatives who have late stage cancer, I told my boss I'm not coming in and risking making myself or other members of staff and customers ill, I've just been told by my boss that my attendance will be monitored now because I've had too many days off, why are companies willing to risk people's lives for minimum profit? And why am I feeling guilty for taking time off when I'm ill?
