I have finally joined the great resignation in the United States.
I was employed for a large publicly traded physical therapy company making $25/hour with two higher ed degrees in healthcare.
I haven't seen a raise or adjustment to my wage in 3 years. I asked numerous times to no avail.
I am fortunate enough to not need a plan B for a few months… so I'm going to volunteer in my community and focus on rejuvenating my own mental and physical health.
I think my next big project will be developing a not for profit aimed at providing easy access healthcare to vulnerable communities with a commitment aimed at ensuring top-tier pay for all employees (minimizing profit and maximizing functional money)…. the dreams will continue.
