The title says it all. I am one of only 3 bartenders at a spot, I am the only one that works full time, picks up any shifts the one day a weekers give up or we’d have to close and now I’m being cut from 5 shifts to 3 after being given a raise and a promotion three weeks ago. The owner is claiming Monday and Tuesday are losing money so they will now be closed those days. They have received massive PPP money and have been running a skeleton crew for months. Now that mandates are ending it’s been busier. We had an event last night that was a resounding success. The owners just opened a multi million dollar brewery somewhere else. I won’t be able to eat so he can own a brewery. I basically feel fired since it’s not a shock I can’t live on 3 days a week. Eat the rich.
