I took a personal day then put in my 2 weeks' notice.
Goodbye, Verizon. I will no longer have to put up with screaming, demanding, rude, nasty people. No longer will I have to touch their disgusting, never-cleaned phones.
No more being scheduled for 8 days in a row.
No more being micromanaged. No more of managers following me into the back room asking if I had tried to sell the customer everything possible in the store.
Unfortunately, I do not have another job lined up, but I will do freelance work until I do. And I'm happy with my decision.
Goodbye, retail. On to better things.
