I call them the 30/30 and 20/20 plans. The idea is people should work 30 hours a week for 30 years (or 20/week for 20 years). That time period should be enough work for a single income household to raise a family, regardless of the occupation. At the end of that time, you can retire with a full pension and enjoy the rest of your life. Presumably we would have to start with 30/30 and work towards 20/20. Thoughts?
