I retired from a full-time position over a year ago. I've been traveling full-time since then. I recently got Starlink and i'm looking for a part-time job to supplement my savings.
Recently one site asked me to explain why I left all my previous positions, and to explain all the gaps in my employment. And I looked over all the entries and just said, “Fuck it”.
I'm willing to accept half the wage I previously made, for a position I can do in my sleep, and they want me to waste my time doing this shit? Forget it.
I like to travel, i've taken care of elderly relatives, I go on sabbaticals, I quit jobs that sucked and lived on savings. I don't have to fucking justify this to anyone.
