Antiwork

I joined the great resignation and it was the best choice I’ve ever made.

After years of telling myself I'd never find a better job I finally had to concede that absolutely no job is worth the toll it was taking on my mental and physical health. I saved up a bit, worked out a plan to pick up hours at my dad's office, and I quit. It came with mountains of doubt, a few solid panic attacks and a whole lot of feelings about myself but after 5 months I landed a nearly identical gig with more vacation than I had “earned” in 10 years at my old place and best of all… it came with a 40% raise on my base pay and a real bonus plan. Just wanted to share my little “fuck yeah!” with you all! Keep fighting the good fight! You guys rock!
