I just blew the 2nd interview at the last second because I know my worth

Title, pretty much, this just happened an hour ago. I was interviewing for a job I really wanted and am extremely qualified for, with several specialty certifications that are hard to come by. I was getting along great with the extra managers brought in for the interview, it was going well right till the end when I brought up compensation just to confirm it was $50k a year like advertised and that we had discussed, and the guy who originally interviewed me said “oh, yeah, we actually start at $16 an hour.” When I expressed disbelief he got pissy and said “well you aren't going to get rich working here.” So, yeah. This seems to be a trend around here, my husband got a job offer with an excellent salary and then when it came time to sign the paperwork it was close to $30k less than what had been…
