So, I got invited for a “chat” about a job.
It was supposed to be remote, for 12 months but oddly wouldn't give me a job description as they wanted to chat in person.
Guy goes yeah, it's 6 months now, don't have budget for 12.
Also it can't be remote – as we “need” to do a lot in person.
Then proceeded to tell me someone hadn't done something properly, all the travelling required and made up some ridiculous list as a job description.
Then proceeded to start grilling me with questions.
I goes nah, let's not continue as there's far too many red flags and we absolutely don't need to do everything in person. Guy's face was a picture – don't think they expect us all to have a backbone.
