I’ve been underpaid by my company and the work have been too stressful for me to continue with commuting back to the office WHILE being able to meet deadlines. I requested to be able to WFH so that I CAN WORK OVERTIME to actually complete my project, but my boss is so adamant to get me back to the office. Their reasoning is that in the office you can have more collaboration and be able to create more?? But at this point we are severely understaffed so I don’t think we can create more.
Long story short, I was going to held up working there until I finished with my big project, but ever since I requested to WFH I noticed that my boss literally stopped talking to me, and not long after, my boss starts to repost Elon Musk’s email to Tesla workers while stating that “they should quit if they don’t want to go back”
I don’t feel valued enough to be able to stand being underpaid while working extra, so I quit.
