I have been having a really rough time of it. My manager at work left and the tide has turned as expected. As I figured, suddenly the bosses’ needs, wants, and imaginations are front and center, and the staff is irrelevant.
When you pander to the people throwing tantrums and expecting the employees to be slaves and not partners in solutions, you lose good people and morale bottoms out.
I can’t work like this. I am exhausted and miserable, and am about to lose it in the most unfortunate way. You can only keep your mouth shut for so long.
I knew it was going to happen. But I am still really sad it did.
