It was my first day at the job and I was doing nothing but watching videos on the computer. I was feeling pretty bad and let my boss know when I got there that I was felling under the weather. I asked to take my 30 minute lunch so I could grab a snack and some water to help make me feel better and her response was “do not be late getting back”… As soon as she said that I knew I didn’t want to work there. Mind you it’s my first day, I’ve never been late, as a matter a fact I got there 15 minutes early and she said “Why are you so early” so her remark was completely unwarranted and quite frankly pissed me off. So I walked to my car and happily drove home. I spent the next two days uniting some phone calls. I feel no guilt. They would of fired me without a question given they wanted to.
