To me, it’s incredibly rigid to expect a perspective employee to preemptively know how to do a job before they’ve even interviewed and I hard pass job postings that require I complete assessment tests anymore. If I’ve been working with them for this long, obviously I have enough knowledge of them to learn how you want me to use them.

Is it just that they have a poor understanding of what the job entails? Do they not have anyone there to train me? It sure sounds that way, and if so, no thanks.
