Hi! I just today released the second chapter of my game about quitting your job and pursuing your dreams. It was very difficult to try to be making this game on the side while still working 30 hours a week. I got it done though! Hopefully someday soon I'll be able to pursue my passion full time instead of working a job that doesn't mean anything to me, but for now I'll just have to settle for both. This is kind of one of those somewhat motivational but somewhat depressing things. I've put hundreds if not thousands of hours into this project and a few thousand dollars on commissioning art and stuff for it, and haven't gotten anything to show for it, but I made something that I really love and actually finished a huge project lol. Maybe it'll lead to something someday, maybe it won't. But it was a great experience even if it was a loooootttt of work.
The game is a satire that pokes fun at many different aspects of society (one of the main ones being corporatism/capitalism) if you happen to be interested, it's called Jeebo & Jerbo vs. Life and it's on Steam. Here's a link to the trailer so you can get a feel for it if you care at all:

But yeah, it's been quite a journey and basically what I'm saying here is that if you have a passion, you should just do it. I know it's super hard when it doesn't make money and you have to work a boring, meaningless job and it takes up all of your energy, but it really is worth it!
