So I’ve been working at a job for about a year now, still at 10$/hr, and recently I’ve been working 40-50 hours a week because we’re short staffed(me and 2 other people). I’m getting burnt out and I came up with an idea to threaten my boss by telling him that if I don’t see written proof that you’re going to give me at least a 2$ raise then I’m not coming in anymore.
Should I go through with it? I don’t have another job lined up completely yet but I can’t work here anymore feeling like I’m being exploited.
