After watching Office Space recently, I realized that I never waste time while at work anymore. When I worked in Cubeville, I would waste hours staring blankly at the computer screen, waiting for 5:00.
Now, when I am tired or hungry or just want to watch The Beverly Hillbillies, I stop working and eat or sleep or watch TV. I never waste time at work. It makes me so much more productive than I ever was sitting at a desk working hours that somebody else chose.
I wonder why managers can't figure this out?
