So after reading these comments I got up the nerve to apply for better paying jobs in my industry (I'm a chef).
In less than a week and a half I found a job that cooks better food, pays me more, doesn't charge for lunch on shift and has a credit scheme to offer employees discounted financing for big items, at a better rate than banks do.
If I work here for 3 years I'll be eligible for a large enough loan to put a down payment on a house.
I'll be the youngest homeowner I (27M) know!
It's all down to you guys. I wanted to leave but truly love my coworkers, but all you guys keep saying “Coworkers don't pay the bills, so move for yourself”
Well I took that to heart, and now I'm in a much better place!!!
Thank you, my anti-capitalist babes ️️
