Hello r/antiwork. I need some help.
I've been working remotely since the pandemic started and I loved it so much that I intend to keep working remote, have not considered anything in office since the pandemic started.
Around February I accepted a job offer which I quit maybe a week later because I got another job offer that paid more so obviously I took that offer instead.
I picked up the old companies equipment a while back before my start date, I knew I had to send it back.
Fast forward, I move into a new apartment that is now a few hours away from that place, I now have no car since I'm working on it with a new engine (sports car).
Ever since then I've been trying to return this equipment back to the company to ship it, I know I have to pay to ship it back, I'm fine with this.
I've emailed them since my start date on providing a return label, no response, I tried reaching out to the companies phone number and no response, second attempt they put me on a hold for 10m and hung up, and my recruiter I've been emailing so many times already with no real response.
So here is my question r/antiwork , I don't want the company to attack my credit and I want to get this machine back to them, just cant drive to them in person yet.
Any advice here?
Sorry if it sounds like I'm ranting, I don't post much on the subs.
Thanks for hearing me out.
