I just quit my store on Friday after 4 years working there, the past 2 years being 6 days a week without fail. Couldn't handle my co-workers anymore, especially one that was hired on maybe 5 months ago that assumed the role of a manager (but not really a manager) and was just such a terrible control freak that she managed to get 4 people (including myself) to leave the store. I warned my GM before he hired her I knew this was going to happen, he didn't listen to me and tried to get me to stick it out but I couldn't any longer. Only 1 person reached out to me to say his goodbyes, which was nice but still… pretty upset that after so long working there, diligently and honorably, that only one person cared enough to talk to me afterwards.
Never forget, they don't care about you, they only care about the work you're doing for them.
