My original post got removed because it included a text message, so here it is again I guess.
I left my $7/hr + tips pizza delivery job back in May in favor of independent contractor work where I make a crap ton more and actually get mileage reimbursement.
My ex boss messages me last night asking if I can work for her today as she doesn’t have a driver for the morning shift.
I’ve been informed by ex coworkers that she only has ONE driver now who works open to close every day. I’m so glad I jumped ship when I did.
I ignored the text. I have no interest in going back there, and besides, I know one favor will lead to another and she’ll try and slowly get me to come back. I’m much happier in my current position.
