I quit my job before probation ends and pocketed a small fortune without doing much

I am an MBA student and while I was doing my course, I didn't update my Linkedin profile yet. A headhunter reached out and I went through a few interviews to land a (fairly high level) job at one of the startups in the area. I told them that I still have school commitment and I would be spending 5-10 hours of work time at school every week but I would be able to make up for that by OT. Note that this offer was ~ 20% higher pay than my previous job. But to be honest, rarely anyone in startups cared about clocking in / out so I got away with that pretty easily. Last 2-3 weeks were crazy because I was juggling between schoolwork and work but also interviewing at other places.
I felt terrible because I was basically using “work from home” time to do other stuff and I landed a few other job offers. My boss was complaining about the tardiness in my projects and I called in quit just before probation ended. I could have quitted after probation ended and served 2 months of, i.e keep getting paid for doing nothing in the next two months but I thought karma would screw me later so I decided not to do that.
Now I am out of work, wrapping up my MBA and have a few other jobs lining up after graduation

TLDR: I took a job while doing MBA, spent my time on school and interviews, called quit before probation ends and pocket a small fortune
