I have a new boss. He replaced my previous boss who was terrible but was also never around so I didn’t have to deal with him. New boss schedules a shit ton of meetings and talks the whole time. Doesn’t listen to my suggestions even though I have 3x more experience in my department. He talks over me (and others). Meetings are not productive and we talk about the same shit over and over and over. He’s old and annoying. Our team is young and cool. He doesn’t respect me. He recommends books when we complain about stuff. If he had his way he would make us all return to office full time despite productivity increasing during covid.
I have a meeting with his bosses boss next week and want to drag him, but I know that won’t serve me well. Any advice on how best to handle would be appreciated.
