So, many many months ago I once worked for 2 days at a place and ended up leaving cuz it wasnt for me.
Somehow ended up forgetting to take my pay, kinda just called them the position wasn't for me and never thought of the place ever again.
Recently got my tax slip from the place in the mail for my pay of 125$ even though ive never been payed. I especially didnt wanna get taxed for pay I didnt receive so I called the owner.
They sorta made fun of me for asking for my pay this many months later but said theyd look into it.
They next day they told me I could go and get it. I call them once I arrive and on the phone they vented half jokingly how it took them forever to find my small pay cheque, and that I owe them labor cost for the 4 hours they spent looking for it. So I go in, after a few awkward back and forths with the receptionist and manager they finally found my pay chque.
in the car after being confused and looking over the papers many times I realize the pay for the first day of work is missing and after dreadfully going back in they told me id have to contact the owner again on my own cuz theres nothing they can do about it
tl;dr forgot to take the pay of a place I worked only 2 days for, after alot of social anxiety went to get my pay but realized 1 day of pay was missing and would need to contact the owner again to solve it
