It's scary, it's a risk, but have not felt this positive for a while. The job i was at was just a clusterfuck. I can't go into too much detail because i am pretty positive some old coworkers might be on here aswell. But management was just the worst i have ever had. Micro-managing, lying about work benefits, not being open towards anyone, denying anybody to talk about salary and/or problems with contracts. More illegal stuff in general (camera surveillance), a scare-work-culture and just overall not a nice place to be at all.
But the worker market is great at the moment. Had a call with another company and i will probably be able to increase my wage by a lot and be in a way better space. But for now, summer break baby. Thanks to these kinda subreddits i know i should just be able to say ''f*ck you'' to any company that disrespects workers. Life is short, better make it worth while.
