now to be completely transparent, my electricians and plumbers make a little more than my painters and carpenters, because they went to school and have the proper qualifications for a specific skill set, but everyone knows this, i encourage my employees to discuss wages with each other and come to me if they believe they’re being treated/paid unfairly. Any of my employees are welcome to go to school on my dime to learn a trade and get certified, i make the same hourly wage as all my employees and almost 88% of our profit goes directly back into supplies, paying them, making sure they have gas money regularly, and getting them things like lunch, drinks etc when i can. i’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
