Was had over working for family, did 4 months and got exploited by them so quit over pay
Now I'm starting a temp job in a factory/engineers as a production operator. What they make and their equipment all looks great but the reality is the job is no different to a generic factory job. Sure they make parts for planes and helicopters but aside from that there's little to get excited over. Of course it's through an agency so it's a 12 week contract which I may or may not finish. Depends if I get a better offer in a smaller/more friendly environment. Ideally more fabrication than machinist work.
Wasnt even told what the job was before the interview by the agent plus I was told it's days only, turns out if they want nights then we're required to do so. Only found this out after I'd verbally accepted it and saw it in the small print lol. Plenty of red flags but I need some quick cash plus I need to go to work to have panic attacks so I can help desensitise myself to anxiety in the long run. (Panic attacks are a big hindrance for me so I'm keen to break the fear of them once and for all) -Dr Claire weekes acceptance method + my CBT practitioner.
So really I'm just using this shitty company to better myself mentally and maybe earn a bit of money for the summer whilst I figure out what I'm going to do long term
