I think my employer restricted my access to internal job postings. If it’s not a technical error and was in fact intentional, is that okay to do?

I'm only about 2 months into my 6 month starting period where, after, I can actually apply for jobs internally. But, until today, I have always been able to look. Now, I can't use the internal job listings hyperlink and it says my Login Access has been restricted. If my boss was able to tell that I was looking at other positions and opted to restrict my access to the postings out of fear that it means I'm leaving… I mean, I doubt it would be illegal, but it's certainly not sensible. LOL!
