At my retail store, our crew calls for eight people. On average. This day was not an “average” day. our freight was about 50% more than usual. We have two new supervisors. One tries too hard to be nice, the other tries to hard to be mean. We had…three people. Not eight. Not eight on an average day. Three on a terrible day. Instead of working to keep us cool on the hot day, instead of keeping everything calm and relaxed, it was lukewarm water and complaints people were going too slow. And trying to tell me how to do my job that I've been doing longer than anyone.
But it's ok, because we're ordering pizza for lunch! Lunch that we were late getting too These aren't even higher ups man. These are hourly people just like us who just. Don't. Get. It. Starting em early I guess.
