Today I got the annual raise that according to the HR metric ” I deserve”. It's roughly .90 more an hour.
I warned my supervisors ( up to CFo) if they didn't find more money I would be applying elsewhere. Applied Saturday. Got called this morning. Interview is tomorrow.
I will even be professional and give my current employer the chance to match whatever offer I get.
But if the past is any indication, the will shoot themselves in the foot over a few extra dollars. I also just showed them how to save an amount equal to the salary of another full time worker. I “forgot” to give them a few important details however.
