I have been at the same job for going in 11 years. It’s absolutely horrible. I found another job in the same industry that would have paid me so much better and been life changing but they asked for a hair drug test. I can absolutely pass a urine test but likely not a hair one.
This isn’t a job that requires heavy machinery or driving or really any reason to make sure you don’t occasionally smoke some pot. I have been in this same industry 15 years with never having had a drug test.
I’m just sad. I feel defeated. I’m so good at what I do and love what I do. I just can’t do it at my current place anymore.
