I get why this is here but I would like to see people start talking about ways to GET OUT OF THE RAT RACE. For example growing your own food, starting a small business cheaply, or saving techniques for those on the lower end of the pay spectrum. I agree that it’s important that we continue to fight those in power, but the best way to go about it is to rid ourselves of the dependency upon them. This may get downvoted to hell but we can’t expect these corps and people to change any time soon. The best way to combat these problems is being more independent without them.
Edit: please don’t get hung up on the term rat race please. I’m not suggesting dropping everything, I’m speaking about breaking your dependency for the need to have the jobs that you all seem to hate so much, and rightfully so. Most people can’t drop everything, but having a small garden or something to offset the cost of necessities, is imperative to breaking the need to keep all of these jobs that you guys don’t want. Ranting about this and that is great to let off steam, but it’s just that a rant. I’d love to see more action towards helping yourselves live the WAY YOU WANT TO. But posting how you get treated at work or about your boss, doesn’t get you there at all. Actions do.
