I walked off the job today before I even started my shift.

I worked in a thrift store, before I told myself “I'm not doing this anymore. It's not worth it” all because of the new inexperienced manager. The job detail on indeed was even misleading and I was doing more work for less money. As a donation attendant, my job details were to receive donations, greet donors, and sort donations. There was no word of having to put away clothes, put away items, and clean up after messy customers. To make everything to the point where I just walked out, coworkers were making false complaints about me and saying to the manager that it wasn't my job to put away items and other nonsense. I nearly walked out mid-shift yesterday because the manager was being bossy and kept me out of the donation spot doing random and unnecessary changes to the store. Because of that, we got a lot of donors…

I can find a better job out there without false advertising.
