I Walked Out

Things my manager did to make me walk out after they'd only been there three weeks and I'd been there a year: • change mine and my coworkers days/number of hours worked every two weeks without talking to any of us • during a disagreement/discussion over end dates of signed contracts, yelled at me that I was telling her how to do her job and hung up on me • targeted two of my coworkers during an all staff meeting, to which they responded by quitting on the spot, causing major issues in uncovered hours/tasks • lied about knowledge of our computer programs, I fixed her mistakes everyday • added new tasks and responsibilities without discussion, such as having me onboard new employees, setting up their paperwork and computer logins, which are things only the manager has computer permissions for so I literally couldn't do them • told me to…

Things my manager did to make me walk out after they'd only been there three weeks and I'd been there a year:

• change mine and my coworkers days/number of hours worked every two weeks without talking to any of us

• during a disagreement/discussion over end dates of signed contracts, yelled at me that I was telling her how to do her job and hung up on me

• targeted two of my coworkers during an all staff meeting, to which they responded by quitting on the spot, causing major issues in uncovered hours/tasks

• lied about knowledge of our computer programs, I fixed her mistakes everyday

• added new tasks and responsibilities without discussion, such as having me onboard new employees, setting up their paperwork and computer logins, which are things only the manager has computer permissions for so I literally couldn't do them

• told me to my face I was replaceable

Have fun replacing me when you didn't have enough staff already because you drove them away and no one you hired got fully trained because I was the only one left who knew how to do the work.

I already had a 2nd job with a nice manager so I'm looking forward to positive change.
