So I finally did it. I got a new job and put in my two weeks at my old one. I was so scared but I eventually said screw it and asked my boss to have a chat with me. I told him I wanted to put in my two weeks and it went surprisingly well. I was told that it's alright and if something went wrong or if it didn't work out I am always welcome back. I was so nervous and scared of what his reaction might be but I guess it's just my anxiety getting to me. It can be surprising how reasonable people can be when it counts.
