My current job is overnight at a grocery store hanging tags,cleaning and Self Checkout.
Tags is awful. We dont have enough people,they demand I finish(way too many) before leaving. This is hours after my shift ends. I once stayed till 15 hrs. This is getting stupid.
My store manager doesnt know how to talk to people and was really on the warpath last Tues. Im so sick of him. Hes ridiculous. I want to not do tags,but the last convo I had about it,he asked if I was resigning and then was like “you're affecting my sales” and just being an ass. I honestly shouldve resigned.
This is a union place too,Im a union member,but they arent a good one. They dont fight hard. They charge a lot in dues though. The only real benefit is that I cant be fired for some stupid shit. Thats probably the only reason Im still there. Its barely worth it though.
I want to just quit. I have no other job and depend on the shitty money. Every night I just wanna say “fuck it” and call out but I need money. I want to just work from home or run off and live somewhere else.
Its become more than I can bear. You have no idea how much I want to just quit or stop showing up,but my bills have to be paid.
