I was given no breaks during an 8 hour shift.

I started a new job recently as a fry cook in fast food. It pays better than my old one (still only $9/h) but this restaurant's policy is that cooks don't get breaks. Their reasoning is that they only have 1 cook on the clock at any time, so giving them a break would disrupt profits. I'm an adult, and this is in Texas, so it's perfectly legal. Of course I can use the restroom, but sitting when it's slow also seems to be discouraged. I'm a healthy and fairly fit young man, but I don't know if I can do this 5-6 days a week. I'm grateful for the job and I can't just quit unless I get hired somewhere else. I'll be taking interviews, but until then is there anything I can do?
