I was hired on for full-time position only for it to be a “Test Shift” the day of.

Long story short. I was hired on full-time for a position as a canvasser that paid $25 an hour. I put my 2 weeks in at my then current job and I gave myself about a week vacation before I started my new job. They messaged me saying they’d have to push my starting day back a few days but I was fine with that. More days I’m not being paid but hey, I got a longer break. So my starting day comes and I meet them at a specific location. They go over the basics of the job and they quite frankly give me minuscule training. I was then sent out on my own. I come back after 6 hours, report to my boss, and I am then told “hey, thanks for your help. Unfortunately we won’t go through with the hiring process but we appreciate you coming out”.…

Even though I was explicitly told this was a full time position and that I had gotten it. I am out of a job currently and I’m scrambling to find another one. Great!
