I’ve been on the side of low productivity lately due to a couple of things. One of my parents needed an emergency open heart surgery, and soon after, our twin girl pregnancy was suddenly lost and both of our daughters died in my wife’s arms. It’s been a tough time. Over the last 6 weeks.
Today my company laid me off because fuck me. They don’t have the guts to tell me it’s because I’ve been off for a week or two to grieve. Apparently the economy did this. Lol. MFs.
I’m in no position to interview. My mental health is prime on postpartum depression. My wife has depression and Covid. We’ll need to figure this out. Thankfully my company said it has a good mission and they need to focus on it so they think I should be good.
