When I asked what the attendance policy was, I was pointed to a metric which I am currently meeting. Then I was told out of the blue ive missed too many days (less than 2 days in the past 6 months) and been late two much (late twice).
Basically being threatened to be let go..
Meanwhile, theres a few coworkers who miss hours every week and another couple of people who consistently miss monday and/or friday every week.
Dont know where this is coming from but if you have an attendance policy, it should be stated openly and enforced fairly among all employees…not hidden…not used to set people up for failure and ruin their lives.
I love this job and thought I was doing great.
