I work on movie/commercial sets, i love my job, but its harsh.
12 hours a day is the minimum on set.
Usually i work 15-18 hours per day, not including my commute to and from set..
It’s pretty much impossible to do it 5 days a week, but at least the pay is good to let me have 3 days of work and 4 days of rest.
Sometimes they’re consecutive… then I really don’t trust myself on the wheel..
on weeks if i have more then 3 i ask production to fund a cab.. usually they do, but when they don’t I’d rather turn down the job or pay a friend to drive me.
