I work for one of the top companies in the world. Not in FAANG, but very close.
Even with the company making money hand over fist the higher ups call in from their mansions and demand we start going in Office to justify taxes they get from the state.
I asked if I could get an additional monitor for in office and was told we “didn’t have the budget.”
this company is worth over two trillion dollars and still penny pinches their workers. literally mind numbing.
lifting myself out of poverty was amazing, but the rich and in power are truly greedy at every tier, even if it would benefit their employees and in turn benefit them. i dream of the day i quit.
