I would never recommend civil disobedience EVER but, as a professional handyman, oil based paint is WAY WAY harder to clean off than latex paint.

I would, literally, never suggest that people start climbing up billboards or painting anti-capitalist graffiti on shitty businesses or anything else that would be illegal. YOU SHOULD NOT DO THAT, EVER. What you should be aware of is, oil based paint is so much harder to wash off in case you ever had to deal with that kind of thing.
