The little story is that, while negotiating the salary I asked that I am expecting 15k INR per month. My boss gave me an offer letter at the time of hiring and which stated that I will get 15k per month from which tax will be deducted. As it's already a very small amount I asked her to give me 15k in hand.
When I signed my contract, the figure I signed up for was 16500k INR per month, this was done by my boss so that i could get 15k in hand but i wasn't told about this intention, my boss's manager told me that the extra money was a travel allowance.
After i joined i got to know that 1.5k INR is deducted as tax from my salary and i was getting 15k in hand. Boss's manager said that the deducted amount will be refunded by govt when you file Income tax return. After six months (which is now) they say that govt is not taxing our income from this year and we are crediting full salary in your accounts. I am still getting 15k in my account. When I asked my boss about it she said, as you asked you want 15k in hand, i am giving you your full salary, and about the contract, we will amend the figure in contract.
Problem is, should I ask them to give the amount stated in the contract because i was Counting on that money, or should I not ask because at the time of negotiations I only asked for 15k and they are giving it.
