So again tell me if I'm wrong about this but I feel like I was not justified in my current termination. On Friday night I went into the office after I had already clocked out because I forgot my bag. My bag contained my work laptop and even though it is not expressly noted in our work agreement I am expected to be able to answer important emails during the weekend.
This afternoon around 4:00 p.m. I was dragged into the conference room to let me know that I was no longer welcome back because I had quote no good reason to show up to the office after hours. I was under the impression that I had keys and codes for the alarm for exactly this reason, if I forgot something or if I had to come in early for something. I don't know
Personally, I feel as though I am a victim of an owner who was eager to downsize anyways and was just looking for an excuse to terminate someone. I was in the building for less than 5 minutes, no time to do anything suspicious or even grab a bathroom visit.
