If you would like a meeting with me, don’t make me schedule it.

I just wanted to rant to you fine people about how annoying it is to have people, from all levels of the company, message me asking me to schedule time with them because they need to meet with me. Like I'm their secretary or I have nothing better to do with my time then schedule THEIR meetings. The overwhelming majority of these requests come from men, so as a woman it comes across as pretty sexist. I always respond with “My calendar is up to date, feel free to grab a time that works best with your schedule.” So, maybe don't do this to the people you work with. It's annoying.
